Engineering News STALFORMCompany STALFORM Int will design and supply the formwork systems for construction of the subway station "Minskaya" in Moscow. Currently, at construction site is in progress the installation of the formwork and concreting of walls and columns. STALFORM Int’s specialists are engaged in erection of the formwork and providing constant supervision over the quality of the equipment.
The station’s complex has a multi-level layout. For construction of the reinforced concrete slabs is used STATICO Szn on galvanized steel frames. For concreting walls STALFORM Int had offered to use MEGAFORM AL formwork system. The collapsible unit consisting of aluminum beams and girders is letting concreting of walls to the height of 7 meters in one pour. Formwork panels are assembled on the assembling site and when ready are lowered down into the pit for installation in the designed position. Rectangular columns are erected in two stages, using the modular formwork system FORMAS AGSm . Completion of concreting work on the "Minskaya" station is scheduled for completion before the end of 2015.
It should be noted that subway station "Minskaya" is part of the south-western section of the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. Construction at this section is carried out by SMU 153 "Transinzhstroy", and General Contractor, company "Mosinzhproekt".
